The Supermate 4 charger is designed to independently control the charging.
each individual cell of a battery pack (parallel charging) up to 4 cells.
This type of charging requires that your pack have a separate parallel-charging connector.
The advantage of this type of charging is that it eliminates
the interference between cells of a battery pack during charging.for example,
in series charging,if one of the cells in the pack is defective and is capable of taking a charge of only up to 2.8 volts or less,
that extra 1.4 volts will be added to the 4.2v charge of the good cell(s)¡£that means that if you were charging a 2-cell pack,
the good cell would receive a charge of 5.6 volts or more.this,
at the very least,would ruin the good cell and increase the possibility of its venting or catching fire.
To Keep a pack balanced by charging individual cells will more long its life.
To charge a battery pack using the Suppermate 4 charger ,
first attach it to a 10 to 15v DC power source. connect the battery
pack's charging plug to the appropriate output port of the charger,There are
three available£º7.4V for 2-cell packs,11.1V for 3-cell packs and 14.8V for 4-cell packs.
the charger briefly auto checks each cell.,the supermate 4 will start charging each cell independently to 4.2 volts.
Leds(as many as there are cells in the pack) will change to red during charging.
When the battery pack is fully charged ,the Leds will change to green to indicate that the pack is ready for use.
